I have entered Contributions and when I close I am always asked, "There are currently # contributions that are not deposited. Do you want to open Deposits module and make a deposit now?". When I click Yes to this message no deposits are added. How do I deposit my contributions?
Answering Yes to the message will only open the Deposits module.

To deposit contributions:

  1. In Membership PLUS click Financials.
  2. Select Deposits.
  3. Click the Add button at the top of the screen.
  4. Enter the appropriate Deposit Date at the top of the screen.

    If you are using Membership PLUS Accounting and have linked the Funds and Bank Accounts to your Membership PLUS accounts, the deposit date will need to match the date of the deposit to the physical bank. See Knowledge Base Article 23528 How to Link Banks to Membership PLUS Accounts.

  5. Select the appropriate Bank Account by clicking the Pick Bank button.

  6. Select the contributions to be adding by using one of the following filter types:

    Use Date Range Mark the Use Date Range check box to enter the beginning and ending date range. The contribution grid and associated total change to reflect only those contributions dated within the selected range.
    Use Batches Mark the Use Batches check box and remove the check mark for the Use Date Range option to mark the check boxes that correspond to the individual batches you wish to include in the deposit. The contributions grid and associated total change to reflect only those contributions that have the selected batch identifier.
    Both types of Filters Mark both the Use Date Range and the Use Batches check boxes to enter the date range and select the desired batches as indicated in the above instructions. The contributions grid and associated total change to reflect only those contributions that meet both the date and batch selection criteria.

  7. Verify the Total at the bottom of the Deposit window.
  8. Click Save at the bottom of the page to save the Deposit.
